ORION in france
ORTF, the French TV, co-produced the series but was not zealous with repetitions after the weekly airing from 13. march to 20. april 1967.
Commando spatial is especially interesting because some scenes were made twice with german and french actors and it's always the dubbed german version appearing in any other country. Would be interesting to hear something about their version from belgique viewers (BRT 1967).
The french actors are:
- Jaques Riberolles (HYDRA astrogator)
- Christina Minazolli (SHE)
- Eliane d'Almeida (Chroma Lady)

It's unclear (until we've seen it) if Maurice Teynac, who played the role of engineer Krantz in the german version was replaced by german actor Wolf Harnisch for the french version.
Besides a pocket book was a record (see below) published in 1967.
The pocket-book
In 1967 RHS published 'Commando Spatial' by Rolf Honold but it was Pierre Lamblin who adapted the story for the pocket-book: "d'apres l'oevre de Rolf Honold; Adaption de Barjavel; Texte de Pierre Lamblin".
'His' story takes place in 2593, Cliff McLane is spelled Mac Léne and so on.
